David Langwallner is a barrister who straddles many fields. A graduate of Trinity College Dublin, The London School of Economics and The Harvard Law School, David was made Irish Lawyer of The Year in 2015. He has three monthly essays in The Village Magazine in Ireland, a public Intellectual website called Cassandra Voices and Counsel Magazine in the UK. He is a former winner of The International Observer Mace debating competition and was a Dean of a Law Faculty and Lecturer at The Kings Inns in Dublin for 16 years. He has been published widely in referred journals. Davis is also the emeritus director of the Irish Innocence Project where he secured the first posthumous pardon in the history of The Irish state.
David is a tenant at 1MCB Chambers and deals with both civil and human rights work. He is a specialist in intellectual property and alternative dispute resolution issues having lectured arbitration law, mediation and negotiation as well as general contracts and torts and having represented whistle-blowers has an in-depth knowledge of the ‘uses and abuses’ of confidential information and non-disclosure agreements.
